Гарольд і Кумар — найкращі друзі. Гарольд працює інвестиційним банкіром, а Кумар різними способами намагається не вступити у медичний універ, куди його запроторив батько. Друзі домовляються курнути маріхуани. Викуривши по цигарці, вони відчули сильний голод і вирушають у швидкоїдло. Ця мандрівочка занурить їх у круговерть подій.
