Сюжет
У результаті краху військового літака, небезпечний вантаж з токсичною речовиною потрапив в ліс. Першими випробували на собі його дію тутешні лісники і грибники. Зараження полягає в перетворення людини в голодного до людської плоті зомбі. Від них зараза передалася випадковим перехожим і проїжджим, а від них пішло по наростаючій. Тільки два божевільних доктори, працюючі в якомусь інституті, намагаються зменшити приплід живих мертвяків...

Міллер дуже уважний до неї, дарує їй сукню із синього оксамиту і навіть навчає її дітей. Але коли Рай з'ясовує справжню причину всієї цієї доброти, то присягається покинути будинок Міллера. Але Міллер не відпускає Рай навіть після смерті, оскільки заповідає їй свій будинок тільки на тій умові, що вона більше ніколи не вийде заміж. А тим часом підросла донька Раї, Бідді. When the psychopathic killer Albert Merrik is released from prison after 15 years, Osgood believes that writing down the history of his crimes could be his breakthrough. Although he refuses to talk to him at first, Osgood follows him around and offers him a job in his book shop. To get the right impressions for his book, he feels that he has to experience Merrik psychopathic again.
