ASSA is set in Crimea during the winter in the mid eighties. A young musician (Bananan) falls for mobster's (Krymov) young mistress (Alika). The parallel story line involves an 18th century assassination plot.

Фудоу Акіра - звичайний японський школяр, син відомого археолога, який нещодавно загинув на південному полюсі, живе звичайним життям: ходить до школи, має подружку, піклується про кроликів у школі. Деколи потрапляє до халепи з місцевими покидьками, все як завжди. Але одного дня до нього за допомогою звертається його старий знайомий - Аска Ріо, і з цього все починається. Ріо розповідає жахливу правду про походження життя на Землі та про перших її жителів - демонів, які ніби то вимерли ще в древні часи, і людство майже нічого не знає про них. Ріо показує цікавий артефакт, в якому міститься візуальна історія доісторичного світу, та розповідає Акірі про те, що демони планують повстати і захопити Землю. Акіра та Ріо - єдині хто може захистити світ.
