6.4 Сюжет
Моряк на ім’я Джонні (Денніс Гоппер) приїздить до прибережного міста, де випадково зустрічає загадкову дівчину Мору (Лінда Лоусон). У його нової знайомої доволі незвичайна професія: Мора працює русалкою в місцевому парку атракціонів. Молоді люди стають все ближчими один до одного. Джонні починає помічати дивну поведінку Мори, яка посилюється переслідуванням таємничою жінкою в чорному вбранні. Хлопцю розповідають про те, що два попередніх коханих Мори загинули. Джонні все більше впевнений у тому, що Мора в дійсності може бути однією з представників надприродних «морських людей»...Незаслужено забутий дебютний повнометражний фільм Кертіса Гаррінґтона, про який відносно нещодавно з’явилися згадки в медіа, завдяки данському режисеру Ніколасу Віндінґу Рефну, який назвав «Night Tide» одним зі своїх улюблених фільмів, купив авторські права на нього та профінансував реставрацію стрічки.
