Кожній тварині вона каже певне слово або фразу, після чого відбувається несподіваний і комічний «хрусткий» момент. Серед зустрічей — і сам Хрускотун, який діє за вже знайомим принципом: якщо правильно сказати ключове слово, він «хрускає» все, що йому вказали.Типовий незалежний анімаційний короткометражний гег-фільм 1970-х: проста анімація, мінімалістичний стиль, швидкий темп і один великий жарт у кінці. Він не такий відомий, як оригінал, який отримав Оскар за найкращий короткометражний мультфільм, але це приємне продовження у тому ж дусі.
