Late 19th century in Alexandria. Two traditionally rival Turkish families, "Seferoglu"s and "Tellioglu"s are competing for the "Green Valley". The winner will be determined by Daver Bey, who has a beautiful young daughter, Leyla. Both families try to arrange a marriage between a man from their family and Leyla, so that Daver Bey will be inclined to give the green valley to his "relatives". Tellioglus, who are behind in the race, desperately find a final solution: They will fake their idiotic butler, Saban, as the highest ranked Ottoman soldier in Egypt: Tosun Pasha.

Банда безчесних покидьків під проводом рідкісного негідника Сема Клейтона порушує спокій мирного містечка Джуно. Члени зграї вбивають заради розваги. Єдиний сміливець, який наважився залучити зграю до правосуддя — пастор Джон, за що й поплатився життям. Юний вихованець священика Джонні вирушає на пошуки людини на ім'я Льюїс, за чутками, здатної повернути в місто мир і врятувати його матір, яка потрапила в лапи до бандитів. Якого ж було здивування Джонні, коли, діставшись кордону з Мексикою, хлопчик знаходить героя, як дві краплі води схожого на покійного священика.

Terry is divorced from his German wife and has a Finnish girlfriend Christina. At Thelma's suggestion they join her and Bob on a caravan holiday but due to a mishap the men get separated from the women. Thelma mistakenly accuses Bob of infidelity and their row is heard publicly as they are in a van with the P.A. still switched on. Bob and Terry then holiday without the girls and,in a hotel at Whitley Bay,score with both the landlady and her daughter but have to make a hurried,trouserless,exit. Terry decides to emigrate and Bob joins him for a farewell drink on board his ship. However Terry changes his mind at the last minute and disembarks, realising too late that Bob is still on board and heading for Bahrain.
