У 1938 році режисер Камеї Фуміо разом зі знімальною групою приєднується до піхотного полку, що бере участь у кампанії в Китаї. Протягом кількох місяців камера фіксує не лише марші та бої, а й виснажливе очікування, страх, поранення та смерть. Особлива сила фільму полягає в тому, що він показує не героїзм війни, а страждання солдатів і мирних жителів по обидва боки фронту. Це рідкісний документальний погляд на жорстоку реальність війни, де людський біль переважає над пропагандою.
Сюжет
У 1938 році режисер Камеї Фуміо разом зі знімальною групою приєднується до піхотного полку, що бере участь у кампанії в Китаї. Сюжет
Дівчина з бідного рибальського села стикається з труднощами після смерті батька. Вона змушена обирати між коханням і необхідністю заробити гроші. Переїзд до міста відкриває перед нею нові можливості, але й небезпеки. Історія про втрату невинності, вибір і боротьбу за краще життя.

Незавершений фільм «Крилос» — історична розповідь про XII століття, навіяна розкопками храму в Галичі. Юліан Дорош розпочав фільмування кольорової кінострічки з життя України-Русі XII ст. (робоча назва «Крилос»), сценарій до якого написав Володимир Софронів-Левицький, а мистецтвознавець і художниця Ірина Гургула, за вказівками Ярослава Пастернака, спроєктувала одяг для персонажів фільму. На провідні ролі були запрошені співак з Волині Андрій Поліщук і аматорка з Копичинців Марійка Сафіянівна (Марічка Софіян-Лозинська). Проби фільму відбувалися улітку 1939 року в митрополичому саду архікатедри св. Юра у Львові.

“HUTZULSHCHYNA” produced by Kalyna Film Company in 1938, was brought from Western Ukraine by Mykola Novak, in order to acquaint the people with the life of the Ukrainian mountaineer. Hutzulshchyna is now divided by two Governments, part is occupied by Poland and another part is occupied by the Hungarian Government. The Hutzuls have lived through a very tragic episode in their struggle to regain their freedom from Poland, and recently from March 13 to March 30, 1939, thousands of Hutzuls were killed by the Hungarian Army in their fight for freedom.
