Політикиня Джу Сан Сук після низки невдач намагається повернутися у велику політику. Після дивного випадку вона більше не може брехати, що стає як її даром, так і прокляттям. Спочатку щирість привертає увагу виборців, але згодом її відвертість починає руйнувати кар’єру, відкриваючи незручні правди. Повернувшись у рідне місто, вона отримує шанс на політичне відродження, однак кожне сказане слово лише ускладнює ситуацію.
