Під час зливи група пасажирів застрягає на вокзалі, де один із них починає розповідати дивні історії. Так розгортається антологія з чотирьох новел: виживання в засніжених горах після фатальної помилки, самурай із минулого, який отримує дзвінки з майбутнього, шаховий чемпіон, втягнутий у смертельну партію з живими фігурами, та молода пара, що тестує комп’ютерний симулятор свого подружнього життя. Кожна історія досліджує провину, вибір, долю й крихкість людських рішень у дусі «Сутінкової зони».
