Тринадцятирічний хлопчик Яо з маленького села на півночі Сенегала готовий зробити все, що завгодно, лише б зустрітися зі своїм кумиром – відомим французьким актором Сейду Таллем. Зірка якраз прилетіла до столиці Сенегала, міста Дакар. Щоб втілити свою мрію в реальність, молодий Яо відправиться сам за 387 кілометрів, щоб досягти столиці.
Сюжет

Однак, саме в цих важких умовах відбувається зустріч двох різних поколінь - батька і сина. Молодий Тьєрно змушений йти на фронт, де також знаходиться його батько. Заради спасіння свого сина, батько готовий піти на будь-які жертви.
