Химерну сагу про Королівський шпиталь у центрі Копенгагена Трієр став знімати ще на початку 90-х, під впливом «Твін Пікса». Перші два сезони вийшли в 1994 та 1997 роках. Прем’єру третього переносили через смерть акторів — передовсім Ернста-Хуго Ярегорда, який зіграв шведського нейрохірурга Стіга Хельмера. Через чверть століття, у 2022 році вийшла завершальна частина серіалу - "Riget. Exodus".
Сюжет
