Фільм оповідає про нелегку долю відомого аргентинського футболіста - Дієґо Марадони, якому властиві як проблеми простих людей: боротьба з наркотиками, зайвою вагою, так і видатних особистостей - боротьба за свободу Куби, незгоду з політичним режимом США. Прикрашає цей витвір мистецтва екранізована бесіда двох богів - бога режисури і бога футболу.

Емір Кустуріца розказує цю історію і є одночасно її героєм.
Сюжет

In his small village in Serbia, Zivan is an outsider. He is a punk rocker poet about to embark on his sixth year of making a punk festival for the locals. With an even bigger goal than previous years, bringing a band from Slovakia, Zivan is faced with the same old problems. Not enough money, not enough time, and most importantly, not enough audience members. Despite his best intentions and dogged determination, Zivan has to face the reality that the world might not be ready for his punk festival.

Inspired by his idol, and armed with his manager, a Lamborghini and a fan base on Facebook, Boris is trying to make his show-business dreams come true. While some fans dream about the day they will meet their idol, other fans dream about the day when they will become someone's idol. The film explores the distance between these dreams of love and success and the everyday lives of the fans.
