Shekhar and Lolita are attracted to each other, but Navin does not approve of this, as he wants Shekhar to get married to Gayetri Tatya, the daughter of his wealthy business associate. Then chaos descends on these families when Girish returns home, is attracted to Lolita and would like to marry her; Lolita finds out that Navin is bent on recovering his loan by evicting her family to a filthy go-down until they can find other means, and intends to build a five star hotel. Двоє друзів вирушають на пошуки зниклого приятеля. У цій подорожі їм належить постійно вплутуватися у вже давно забуті суперечки, зіпсувати чуже весілля і побувати на похоронах. Їх дорога проходить через небезпечні місця. І тут починається ще одна не зовсім звичайна подорож друзів дорогами їх пам'яті. Вони згадують свого приятеля, нестримного і вільнодумного Ранчо, який якимось дивним чином увірвався в їхнє життя і все в ньому змінив. Вони згадують ті часи, коли всі вони жили в студентському гуртожитку. Згадують про те, як зароджувалося кохання Ранчо до жвавої дівчини Піа і про конфлікт Ранчо з його наставником, справжнім тираном Віру Сахастрабудхе. І ось одного разу Ранчо раптом зникає ... Ким він був насправді? Звідки він родом? Чому зник?

Devdas and Paro are in love but Paro is a lower caste and is set to be married to an older widower. Devdas is devastated & leaves home. He becomes an alcoholic womanizer and falls in love with a courtesan. Paro tries to get Devdas away from drinking before he self destructs.
