The faces of immigrants to the U. S. changed over the years. The fear of them, fear of the other, never has. First, it was the Chinese, the Irish, the Slavs, the Jews, and the Italians. Now it is the Muslims and the Mexicans.Сюжет
«Зірка полин» — 14-хвилинний документальний фільм про вибір і цінності. У фільмі показано село Малі Кліщі, засноване ще в 1790 році. У 1972 році тут було 200 дворів і 530 жителів. Однак через радіоактивне забруднення мешканці села були відселені. 21 червня 1991 року обласна рада зняла село з обліку. Сьогодні у Малих Кліщах залишилося лише двоє жителів. Головні герої фільму – мати та син – Ніна (79 років) та Олександр (62 роки). Попри те, що багато років живуть разом, вони не знаходять спільної мови. За право залишитися у власній домівці вони заплатили найвищу ціну – самотність.
Сюжет
«Зірка полин» — 14-хвилинний документальний фільм про вибір і цінності. У фільмі показано село Малі Кліщі, засноване ще в 1790 році. У 1972 році тут було 200 дворів і 530 жителів. Однак через радіоактивне забруднення мешканці села були відселені. 21 червня 1991 року обласна рада зняла село з обліку. Сьогодні у Малих Кліщах залишилося лише двоє жителів. Головні герої фільму – мати та син – Ніна (79 років) та Олександр (62 роки). Попри те, що багато років живуть разом, вони не знаходять спільної мови.
