Поетичний зв’язок між стародавнім ритуалом Ценеру та життям пастуха-відлюдника Фламініо змушує нас задуматися про межу між свійськими та дикими тваринами, між відомим і незнаним. Наприкінці зими витривалий пастух Фламініо матеріально та духовно готується до приходу весни за допомогою щоденних ритуалів. Він використовує ті знаряддя праці, які сам зробив для себе. Фламініо зрушує та засіває землю, стриже овець і шиє вовняний костюм на новий сезон. Громади долини проганяють зиму коров’ячими дзвіночками та багаттям за допомогою ритуалу Scasada dol Zenerù, який вплітається в історію життя пастуха як казковий елемент, що спирається на пам’ять предків. Завдяки тісному зв’язку з природою Фламініо відчуває, що настав момент закликати громаду діяти, та починає ритуал.
