Кілька уцілілих реплікантів планують диверсію для знищення баз даних з інформацією про них, що дасть їм можливість спокійно жити. Дане аніме було знято на замовлення Дені Вільньова - режисера фільму "Той, хто біжить по лезу 2049", як передісторія до його фільму і відображення ключових подій між 2019 та 2049 роками.
