Водночас він протистоїть обслуговуючому персоналу — ревнивій дочці боса, некомпетентній офіціантці та милій, але безпардонній адміністраторці. Незважаючи на постійні на понаднормові робочі години та нескінченні катастрофи, Джек сповнений рішучості відновити свою репутацію зірки кулінарного мистецтва.
