The fake private detective Mike Spillone is hired by two old ladies to find out if Brigitte, the wife of their nephew Otello Bellomo, has a lover. Brigitte is a physician but the two aunts are unaware of the fact. Ma il giorno dopo il salvataggio Gennaro si presenta a casa sua e gli chiede di essere ospitato: Aristide gli ha ridato la vita ed ora questa vita é una sua responsabilità . Sempre per via delle elezioni Paoloni accetta e così Vaccariello si installa a casa del commedatore portando con sè i sei figli e uno zio a carico. Tra suo figlio maggiore, Raffaele, e la figlia di Aristide, Irene si instaura un rapporto di odio-amore e la situazione in casa si fa sempre più insostenibile. Come potrà Gennaro ribaltare la situazione? Forse salvando a sua volta il commedator Paoloni?
