Цей політичний землетрус зміщує більшість голосів від колоніальних держав до Глобального Півдня. Поки радянський лідер Нікіта Хрущов обурено стукає черевиком, звинувачуючи ООН у причетності до повалення Лумумби, Державний департамент США діє і відправляє до Конґо свого джазового посла — Луї Армстронґа, щоби відвернути увагу від перевороту, підтриманого ЦРУ.
