Сюжет
Вчений робить в Академії доповідь про можливість польоту на Місяць. Після бурхливих дискусій вирішено відправити на Місяць експедицію, для якої будується космічний корабель у вигляді порожнього снаряда, який запускається в космос пострілом з величезної гармати. Снаряд падає на Місяць. Академіки виходять на поверхню Місяця, любуються видом на Землю й лягають спати. Ранком вони йдуть досліджувати знайдену печеру, де зустрічають стрибаючих селенітів (у фільмі їх зображували професійні акробати). Розправившись із селенітами за допомогою парасольок, учені вирішують повернутися на Землю, сідають у снаряд, після чого останній академік зіштовхує снаряд із краю Місяця й сам стрибає слідом. Снаряд падає в океан і благополучно допливає до гавані. Прибулих мандрівників з пошаною зустрічають співвітчизники.

Розправившись із селенітами за допомогою парасольок, учені вирішують повернутися на Землю, сідають у снаряд, після чого останній академік зіштовхує снаряд із краю Місяця й сам стрибає слідом. Снаряд падає в океан і благополучно допливає до гавані. Прибулих мандрівників з пошаною зустрічають співвітчизники.
Сюжет
Товариство ексцентричних географів вирішує здійснити неможливу подорож, використовуючи всі відомі засоби пересування — потяги, автомобілі, дирижаблі та підводні човни. The scene opens in an artist's studio where the unfinished statue of William Tell stands upon a pedestal. A clown appears and sticks a clay arm and clay head on the statue, thus completing it. He places a large brick on top of the head to make it stick. When he turns his back the statue turns into a living representation of William Tell, and seizing the brick from the top of his head, hits the clown a heavy blow upon the back. After some very strange happenings, the mysterious William Tell finally vanishes in a cloud of smoke, and the clown jumps up from the floor and makes his exit in a very ludicrous manner.
