«Майдан» – це стрічка, що заглиблює глядача у вир подій. Залучає до глибої емоційної драми на тлі історії звичайних людей. Про них не довідатися з преси. Це історії, що надихають. Історії молодих людей, які відстоюють власні права, долаючи чисельні перешкоди: від брутального військового режиму, який збирається придушити повстання танками, до корумпованих членів Братів мусульман, що використовують мечеті для маніпулювання електоратом. Активісти у нашому фільмі озброєні лише камерами, соціальними мережами, відео завантаженими на YouTube, а також рішучістю звільнити свій народ. Фільм відзнято у стилі «кіно вар’єте», що надає глядачам деталізований погляд на революцію у самому її серці. Завдяки новітнім технологіям, голос молодих людей неможливо приглушити у цифрову епоху. Наші герої б’ються у віковічній війні модерною зброєю.
Фільм «Майдан» вперше з’явився на екранах у вигляді чорнового монтаж на міжнародному кінофестивалі «Санденс» у січні 2013 року, де отримав Приз глядацьких симпатій у категорії «Міжнародне документальне кіно». У той момент, коли творці фільму отримували нагороду, головні герої продовжували боротьбу на вулицях Єгипту. Тоді перший президент, обраний демократичним шляхом, оголосив про надання собі повноважень, що перевищували ті, які мав щойно повалений диктатор. З огляду на неочікуваний поворот подій, ми знали, що історія матиме продовження. Ми повернулися на вулиці, щоб зафіксувати те, що пізніше увійде до фільм як друга частина – конфлікт із Братами мусульманами та усунення Могамеда Морсі єгипетською армією.
Ми стаємо свідками неймовірної самопожертви героїв фільму на шляху до свободи. Завдяки промовам цих сміливих революціонерів ми розуміємо, чому вони вірять, що варто ризикувати життям та здоров’ям заради ідеалів і майбутнього країни.

That want is in part to support her opulent personal lifestyle, but is more a need to bolster her own sense of self-worth as a basically insecure person who is probably best known now for her overuse of cosmetic surgery rather than her professional work. She feels that Kathy Griffin, who she admires, is now getting all the engagements she would have gotten in her prime. During this year, Rivers is seen going from engagement to engagement, some big - such as a Kennedy Center Honors for George Carlin, a double bill with Don Rickles in New York, and her own celebrity roast on Comedy Central (which she really isn't looking forward to) - and some not so big. But perhaps the most important of these to her is the opening of her new play, which she is testing in Edinburgh, important in that she wants to be seen as an actress; and an appearance on a celebrity version of The Apprentice (2004), important in that it will mark her first appearance on NBC since being blacklisted by them for her disagreement with Johnny Carson over the start of her own talk show on rival Fox back in 1989. Through the year, several long time supporters are at her side, including daughter Melissa Rivers, personal assistant 'Jocelyn Pickett', and manager Bill Sammeth, but all is not smooth even in this part of her life.

Internationally acclaimed ventriloquist Nina Conti, takes the bereaved puppets of her mentor and erstwhile lover Ken Campbell on a pilgrimage to 'Venthaven' the resting place for puppets of dead ventriloquists. She gets to know her latex and wooden travelling partners along the way, and with them deconstructs herself and her lost love in this ventriloquial docu-mocumentary requiem. Ken Campbell was a hugely respected maverick of the British Theatre, an eccentric genius who would snort out forgotten artforms. Nina was his prodigy in ventriloquism and has been said to have reinvented the artform. This film is truly unique in genre and style. No one has seen ventriloquism like this before.

Little White Lie tells Lacey Schwartz's story of growing up in a typical upper-middle-class Jewish household in Woodstock, NY, with loving parents and a strong sense of her Jewish identity - despite the questions from those around her about how a white girl could have such dark skin. She believes her family's explanation that her looks were inherited from her dark-skinned Sicilian grandfather. But when her parents abruptly split, her gut starts to tell her something different. At eighteen, she finally confronts her mother and learns the truth: her biological father was not the man who raised her, but a black man named Rodney with whom her mother had an affair. Afraid of losing her relationship with her parents, Lacey doesn't openly acknowledge her newly discovered black identity with her white family until her biological father dies shortly before Lacey's thirtieth birthday. Following the funeral, Lacey begins a quest to reconcile the hidden pieces of her life and heal her relationship with her father.
