На вечірці Мейбл проводить весь час разом із Чарлі, але той невдовзі змушений піти, тому що в нього закінчилась перерва на роботі. Гаррі запрошує усіх прогулятися містом, щоб ніби випадково зайти до кабаре. Коли вони відходять він проколює колесо машини. Вони помічають зіпсоване колесо та починають жбурляти каміння у Чарлі. Той відповідає тим же, але коли до Мейбл приєднується її батько, Чарлі доводиться тікати.
