Вже за часів Людовика XIV говорили, що історія Версаля складається з череди будівництва і зваблювань. Роботи почалися в 1661 році. Вперші два роки Людовик XIV витратив незчисленні суми грошей.Зведення Версаля продовжувалося декілька десятиріч і зажадало не тільки неймовірні грошові витрати, але і залучення багатьох тисяч робочих рук.
Першим архітектором Версаля був Луї Лево, його змінив Жюль Ардуен-Мон-сар, керуючий будівництвом протягом тридцяти років. Оформлення парків було доручено Андре Лено Тру.
Сюжет

Recently wed, he hopes to start anew by opening a restaurant on the National 7 highway, although he's none too pleased when the truckers start flirting with his lovely wife.
