В недалекому майбутньому, після зіткнення з гігантським астероїдом, Земля занурюється в вічну зиму. Жалюгідні залишки людства повинні існувати під гнітом обраних, так званої Еліти, що прибрала до рук всі залишки їжі та енергії.Але в міських лабіринтах руїн завдяки своїй красі одна з рабинь, жорстока і неприступна Гейл, вибралась з гетто і стала володаркою гарему, де обрані вгамовують свою збочену пристрасть. Тут Гейл розповідає план відчайдушного перевороту з метою скинути Еліту. Незабаром вона кине виклик жорстоким тиранам, щоб визволити народ від страждань і покласти початок новому майбутньому.
