Джо Сімпсон ламає ногу. Атс вирішує спускати друга донизу. Крижана краса Анд виявляється жахом, від якого кров холоне в жилах. Присутність у кадрі живих прототипів героїв фільму розвіює сумніви про те, як усе закінчиться. Але, як не дивно, напруга від цього не слабшає.
