Батько та четверо синів Бантонов, що займаються розбоєм і грабежами, захоплюють касу шахтарського селища. Їхніми слідами прямує поліцейський інспектор Вінтерс (Джон Салліван) і захоплює в полон одного з синів Бантонов, Коя (Джок Махоні), за затримання якого призначено велику нагороду.
