Головний герой фільму - Ренді «Таран» Робінсон - був зіркою 80-х, але став блідою копією самого себе. Одержавши інфаркт під час одного з матчів, борець почув від лікарів неприємну звістку: якщо він продовжить виступи, то може вмерти. Намагаючись почати життя заново, Ренді влаштувався працювати в магазин і налагоджував стосунки з дочкою. Але уж боляче привабливою була перспектива матчу-реваншу зі старим суперником по кличці Аятолла...
