Історія про те, як може змінити людину грошва. Богуш Стейскал живе в малому моравському селі в старій хаті. Свій час проводить, як всі інші, або на роботі, або в шинку. Одного дня його життя зміниться, до села приїде адвокат, який йому повідомить, що завдяки реституції він успадкує величезний батьківський маєток.
