When he falls for Brazilian beauty Belinha de Rezende it appears to be for real, even though she is already engaged. His Yankee Clippers band is hired to open the new Hotel Atlântico in Rio and Roger offers to fly Belinha part way home. After a mechanical breakdown and forced landing, Roger is confident and makes his move, but Belinha plays hard to get. She can't seem to decide between Roger and her fiance Júlio. But being on the opposide sides in the same case is not the only problem for Wattles and Swift, the cocurring lawfirm Jackson, Jackson, Jackson and Jackson, has started a price war and one of its member has just been appointed judge, furthermore, there's Ace Crosby, whose ex-wife got her divorce with the help of Wattles and Swift, who vowed to shoot Wattles for this. Wattles disguises as widow Hanover, Joe's co-respondent. Crosby, waiting at the office-turned-casino, wins too much at the pokertable, so Wattles tries to lure him away...

Дотримуючись ради свого сина, Уегстафф намагається завербувати парочку професійних гравців, але через плутанину в панібратській розмові, помилково запрошує в команду собачого шкуродера й бутлегера. Як би те не було, Уегстафф доручає їм викрасти кращих гравців з команди своїх старих супротивників з Коледжу Дарвіна, але, на жаль, у них нічого не виходить.
