Сюжет
Місцем дії нового гостросюжетного фантастичного фільму режисера Кім Чжі Хуна стає корейська бурова вишка, розташована на південь від острова Чечжудо. Працюючі тут геологи ведуть розвідувальні роботи, намагаючись знайти родовище нафти. Однак ці пошуки виявляються невдалими. Одого дня вони отримують наказ начальства згорнути всю діяльність і в терміновому порядку повернутися на берег. Для нагляду за евакуацією співробітників з бурової установки зі штабу перибуває Чон Ман, один з найстарших і найдосвідченіших фахівців компанії. Однак рішення начальства не подобається інженеру Хе Чжун, яка впевнена, що в даному районі є нафта, і не бажає виконувати накази Чон Мана.
