Американка Ребека, яка живе вже декілька місяців в Єрусалимі, тільки що розірвала свої змовини. Вона сідає у таксі, за кермом якої ізраїльтянка Ханна. Ханна прямує до Йорданії, у вільну зону, щоб забрати велику суму грошей, яку їм з чоловіком заборговував його американський діловий партнер. Ребека переконує Ханну узяти її з собою. Коли вони приїжджають у вільну зону, палестинка Лейла повідомляє їх, що американця тут немає, а гроші пропали...
