Валентина працює юристкою в одному з банків Ліхтенштейну, де відповідає за зв'язки зі Східною Європою. До 13 років вона жила у Києві, тож непогано пам'ятає українську та російську мови; грала на скрипці. У 1996-му, під час важкого, перехідного для економіки України періоду, Валентина разом з матір'ю і вітчимом еміґрувала до Швейцарії. В останні дні перебування Валентини в Україні відбувся її концерт у музичній школі та прощальний вечір. Уся родина зібралася за столом і обговорювала майбутнє дівчини. Минуло 20 років...

Найзаможніша родина вимушена бідувати. Також фільм оповідає про наслідки землетрусу 2015 року в Округлій. Коли земні поштовхи сколихнули село, Марія Федорівна перебувала у лікарні. Перед її поверненням додому рідні відремонтували тріщини в оселі, щоб уберегти бабусю Марію від хвилювань.Про долю жінки на тлі закарпатської історії.
