У кадрах видно хустку на голові - свідчення «хімії». Тому «Уроки російської» можна вважати її посмертним заповітом.
У фільмі показано те, чого не було і немає в репортажах центральних російських телеканалів. Сама назва фільму - «Уроки русского» - опосередковано проходить у фільмі двічі. Перший раз, коли Андрій Некрасов знаходить на згарищі в Горі обгорілий зошит учня п'ятого класу із завданнями з російської мови. Вдруге Ольга Конська показує в розореному книжковому магазині в Цхінвалі купу кинутих підручників, серед яких, знову ж таки, є посібник з російської мови.
