Східна Європа. Підліток тікає зі свого депресивного рідного міста. Її ентузіазм щодо автостопу зникає, коли вона опиняється на околиці незнайомого міста посеред ночі. На мосту вона зустрічає фігуру, що необачно ходить по огорожі. Так вона зустрічається з Скіні — свого роду нестабільним диваком. Скіні живе в будинку на колесах, який він використовує щоб виконувати свої не дуже легальні доручення. Разом з ним вона вирушає в подорож без кінцевого призначення. Під час поїздки між ними виникає особлива прихильність.

Опинившись у великому місті, Ходока швидко залишається без грошей, бо ще замалий, аби офіційно влаштуватися на роботу. На допомогу хлопцеві знову приходить Кейсуке – наймає хлопця журналістом до свого видання, яке пише про надприродні явища. Співробітники зайняті пошуками дивовижної дівчини, яка здатна керувати погодою. Виявляється, мова йде про Хіну.

Виявляється, життя без ворогів втратило для нього сенс. Тож він створив собі нового супергероя-суперника. На жаль, новий герой також хоче бути суперлиходієм. Хто ж тоді захищатиме невинних? He was crippled from a car accident when he was 17 but that's not how he lost his big toe. He lost that in a motorbike accident, yeah he was broken alright - what the hell was he fighting for anyway and what was he still doing in China? His father had given me two clear instructions: 1. Get Techno to stop drinking long enough to receive the liver transplant, and 2. Get him back home to Vancouver. This was not going to be easy.

Our protagonist dreams of becoming a bus driver in order to cruise down quiet country lanes and connect with nature, her young charges and their parents. But her idyllic view of her new job is sorely tested after she meets her surly boss, named Killer, and discovers that winding roads can prove treacherous in winter, especially with a faulty clutch. Through her cheeky humour and oblique look at the reality of people living in the Quebec countryside, Tali delivers a film that is unique, witty and touching.
