A man decides whether to accept a call to protect his country's independence in a new war. Joining a special intelligence unit, he is testing his destiny with allies and enemies with a slight but sweet chance for reward.

Неля – власниця музею-садиби народно-побутового ужитку «Омелькова хата» в селі Козубівка Полтавської області. Неля разом зі своїм чоловіком Олександром допомагають адаптуватися в селі переселенцям, що рятувалися від бомбардувань та обстрілів у Харкові. Вони стають один для одного друзями.Через війну, Неля дуже боїться голоду, тому щоб переселенці з Харкова могли себе прогодуватися, вона дає їм великий город з посадковим насінням, на якому вони саджають картоплю та овочі.
З часом стає зрозуміло, що переселенці з міста не готові до важкої фізичної роботи на городі, адже сподіваються, що війна скоро закінчиться. Без догляду посаджений врожай починає псуватися.
Чи вдасться їм знати компроміс, врятувати город і свої взаємовідносини?
