The dead woman is said to be Dillys March, the adopted daughter of the extremely wealthy Colonel Titus Crael, who disappeared 20 years ago and has now unexpectedly returned. Після страшної аварії медсестра Марія Хофер втратила пам'ять. На виході з віденської кав'ярні вона була збита машиною. Тепер вона нічого не знає про подію і не може пригадати свого чоловіка Бруно і їх двох дітей. Сім'я робить все, щоб допомогти Марії для поліпшення її пам'яті. У той же час Бруно, який є прокурором, після встановлення причини аварії за допомогою детектива Фредді шукає злочинця, який скоїв наїзд. Але знайти його складно, тому що єдиний свідок Лукас - коханець Марії...

And why the Hebrew writing? Shortly afterwards, Laim learns of a blackmail letter to his mother, signed with the Hebrew word "Shilem". The blackmailers demand 80,000 euros so that the public does not find out that Laim's grandfather made his fortune in the course of Aryanization.
