За мотивами поезії Тараса Шевченка «За байраком байрак» з циклу «У казематі».У останній третині XVIII ст. гетьман уклав союз з турками, маючи намір з їхньою допомогою захопити Річ Посполиту. На знак вдячності туркам люди гетьмана гнали цілі села своїх же одноплемінників і продавали їх у рабство до Кафи. У цей же час очільник Січі дізнавшись про це, наказав знайти і покарати зрадників свого народу. Курінні козаки наздогнали три сотні работоргівців біля одного хутора, де вони були порубані на частини, позбавлені натільних хрестів і викинуті у річку, щоб земля українська не прийняла зрадників.

Set in an alternate WWI reality where a senseless war rages on, two soldiers on opposite sides of the conflict play a joyful game of chess. A heroic carrier pigeon delivers the soldiers' chess moves over the battlefield as the fighting escalates. Neither soldier knows his opponent as the game and the war builds to its climatic final move. Whoever wins the game, one thing is for certain: there are no winners in war.Сюжет
Сержант Рок - досвідчений боєць, якому неодноразово доручали виконання найважливіших місій. Він завжди був упевнений, що вже все бачив у цьому житті і його не вдасться чимось здивувати. Але герой був не правий. Якось він отримує від командування нове секретне завдання. Сержанту належить вести загін легендарних монстрів, які мають розпочати бій із взводом нацистських зомбі. Чи впорається він із цим завданням, і які випробування чекають його в цій непростій місії? Чи легко буде керувати такими нестандартними підлеглими?
Сюжет

This short was made expressly for and under the auspices of War Activities Committee of the U. S. Treasury Department, and was distributed to theatres at no charge by only National Screen Services, since the War Activities Committee nor the U. S. Treasury Department had no film-exchange offices nor a theatre-distribution set-up. The premise is that it would take 'taxes to beat the axis', and Donald Duck is a reluctant tax-payer until he listens to a radio broadcast concerning the importance of all U.S. citizens to pay their share of taxes, and Donald gets into a conversation with the radio commentator, and learns why it is important to pay taxes to beat the axis.

Private Donald Duck has snuck off base for some unauthorized R&R. But his clever ruse (a dummy and a sound effects record) don't fool Sergeant Pete, who's waiting for him when he sneaks back in. Donald hides in one of three boxes and plays the shell game for a while, until Pete throws the box with Donald along the top of a sharp fence, sawing it in half. Donald lands in a hole, and both he and Pete think he's been sawed in half, for a while. Donald discovers he's OK, but his joy is shortlived when Pete gives chase (a chase slowed considerably by the 35 MPH national speed limit).

He uses an inflated canoe to cross the river, but as soon as it fills up with water, Donald is running for his life. He makes sure the canoe hits nothing that would pop it. When he gets to the edge of a cliff, he sees the airfield. The canoe has already exploded, causing water to flow. This large amount of water splashes onto the airfield, wiping the whole thing clean, but leaving disfigured airplanes.
