Сюжет
Щороку берлінська влада хоронить від п’яти до десяти відсотків усіх померлих жителів міста через неможливість відшукати родичів. Цю сумну місію зазвичай самотужки виконує гробар Бернд Саймон. Однак іноді з’являються ще й інші, які прощаються з покійниками по-своєму. Документальний фільм-спостереження про гробокопача, який насправді хотів стати артистом, химерний портрет міста та дзеркало того, як ми ставимося до смерті, трауру та вшанування пам’яті.
