У ніч на 28 травня 1946 року була проведена вдала атака на підконтрольне НКВД місто Грубешів — одна з найбільших військових операцій, які УПА здійснила спільно з наступниками АК, польськими повстанцями з ВіН (Воля і Незалежність).Нагороди
