Then as if struck by a tornado of supernatural strength, the building begins to crumble. Chimneys totters, walls cave in, and whole stories vanish, until at last the site shows only a cellar excavation; and the Broadway cars with the sidewalk procession continue as if nothing unusual had happened. When this view is shown in the reverse, the effect is very extraordinary.

Nevertheless, she is captured by Momba, the Wicked Witch of the West (suggesting Baum thought the other witches were Mombe, Mombo, and Mombu, in keeping with the council in _Queen Zixi of Ix_) and her flying lizards and soldiers. Dorothy defeats Momba, and they arrive at the Emerald City just in time for the Wizard's going away party.

Чудовисько збиває студента з ніг і переховується. Франкенштейна переповнює любов до Елізабет, і це почуття остаточно витісняє Чудовисько з його свідомості. Фільм закінчується метафоричним епізодом, в якому Чудовисько бачить своє відображення в дзеркалі і з загрозою здіймає руки — але раптом зникає, причому його відображення в дзеркалі залишається. Франкенштейн підходить до дзеркала і бачить у ньому замість себе Чудовисько. Але боротьба добра і зла в душі студента вже завершено: жахливий образ в дзеркалі змінюється на власне відображення Франкенштейна.

A greedy tycoon decides, on a whim, to corner the world market in wheat. This doubles the price of bread, forcing the grain's producers into charity lines and further into poverty. The film continues to contrast the ironic differences between the lives of those who work to grow the wheat and the life of the man who dabbles in its sale for profit.
