Американський письменник Том Рікс після скандалу на роботі та звільнення відлітає в Париж, щоб зайнятися вихованням дочки. Але все складається не так, як гадалося. У Парижі Рік змушений влаштуватися працювати нічним сторожем, щоб якось звести кінці з кінцями. Одного разу на літературному вечорі він знайомиться з чарівною вдовою Мардж. Але Том навіть уявити собі не міг, на що вона здатна, щоб утримати його.

Як нитка Аріадни в світі нової моралі стала для нього зустріч з колишнім однокласником Дімою, що успішно торгував у комерційному кіоску. Життя стає схожим на кіно. Необдуманий і легковажний вчинок Анатолія став першою ланкою в ланцюзі подій, в результаті яких було вбито чоловіка, що сам був найманим убивцею.Мова: фільмували московською, для кінопрокату тоді ж дублювали українською

Усі вони не дуже впевнені в собі молоді люди, в той час як навколо стільки всього відбувається! Просто не потрібно боятися і впускати в себе цей прекрасний навколишній світ.
