У культурі Німеччини як у дзеркалі відображається різноманітність джерел, пристрасть і розрахунок, витончене ремесло і раптові жести, любов до природи і схильність до техніки, потреба в самоті і бажання контролювати. Є гарний спосіб зрозуміти не простий німецький характер — це історія мистецтва.
