Париж, 1995 рік. Під час підготовки виставки Піросмані Антон Ґоґоладзе зустрічає літню пані з лукавим поглядом на ім'я Марсель Віслюк.У неї є старовинний рукопис, написаний на початку століття матір'ю Антона, грузинської княжною Сесілією Абашидзе, де розповідається історія бурхливого і шахрайський життя кухаря-мандрівника Паскаля Ішака, історія його божевільної останньої любові, яка наздогнала його в Сакартвело ... У двадцяті роки доля закидає його в далеке Сакартвело. Паскаль має намір пробути там усього кілька днів. Він не знає, що буде залучений у вир цікавих і важливих подій, що його чекають слава, удача і шалене кохання.
І вже звичайно йому невідомо, що через багато десятиліть у Парижі виявиться рукопис, який зберігає пам'ять про всі ті дивні події.
