Сцени з Китаю тут розташовані поряд з архівними зображеннями подій 1968 року у Франції, Чехословаччині та Бразилії. Знімальна група не тільки розкриває стан думок тих, хто знімав — радість, зачарованість, страх, розчарування, засмучення — але також проливає світло на зв’язок між документом та його політичним контекстом. Що можна сказати про Париж, Прагу, Ріо-де-Жанейро чи Пекін, дивлячись на зображення з цього періоду? Чому з кожного з цих міст залишився саме цей закарбований спогад?
