Сюжет
Дія відбувається в невеликому шахтарському містечку, розташованому в центральній частині Швеції. Там разом зі своєю родиною живе Вероніка Грен, яка працює в поліції. З дитинства героїня страждає від видінь. Щоправда, вона позбавляється від них, коли приймає таблетки, що продаються за рецептом лікаря.
