Доля була несправедливою до цілого покоління українських футболістів. Щороку збірна України ставила перед собою одну мету: кваліфікуватися на Чемпіонат світу. І щороку ця мета залишалася лише мрією. Аж до 2006 року. Це історія про силу духу та віру в себе. Про важкий шлях під керівництвом тренера Олега Блохіна, з сильними суперниками та вирішальним матчем проти Швейцарії. І про червень 2006-го, коли вся Україна, від Львова до Луганська, об’єдналася в підтримці синьо-жовтих.Фільм є це частиною нового документального серіалу «Епізоди», присвяченому історіям незалежної України. Усі вони здаються такими різними, але водночас дуже схожі: наївні, сумні, амбітні. Серіал поєднує розповіді від перших осіб та архівні матеріали подій, на яких виросли цілі покоління.
