Сюжет
«Зірка полин» — 14-хвилинний документальний фільм про вибір і цінності. У фільмі показано село Малі Кліщі, засноване ще в 1790 році. У 1972 році тут було 200 дворів і 530 жителів. Однак через радіоактивне забруднення мешканці села були відселені. 21 червня 1991 року обласна рада зняла село з обліку. Сьогодні у Малих Кліщах залишилося лише двоє жителів. Головні герої фільму – мати та син – Ніна (79 років) та Олександр (62 роки). Попри те, що багато років живуть разом, вони не знаходять спільної мови. Олег Сенцов – український режисер, активіст Євромайдану і уродженець Криму. Після анексії півострова Росією він став активним супротивцем окупації. У травні 2014 року ФСБ заарештувало Сенцова, звинуватило його у плануванні терактів і вивезло до Москви. Після року ув’язнення його було засуджено до 20 років колонії – попри те, що свідоцтва з боку звинувачення були надані під тиском, а докази у справі – відсутні. Олег Сенцов своєї провини не визнає.
