Reminiscent of film noir classics, the biopic tells the glorious and tragic story of the legendary football striker Heleno de Freitas. The shaman advises Abeguar that he was the chosen one by the god Munhã to lead his tribe and fight against the evil Anhangá. When the tribe leader Piatã joins the French in the fight against the Portuguese, the entire Tupinambás are slaughtered and Abeguar turns into a bird that flies for more than two hundred years to find Janaina. In 1825, the warrior is Manuel Balaio that lives with JanaÃna and their two daughters in Maranhão. When one of his daughters is raped by the abusive police commander, Balaio leads the oppressed locals against the police and they take down the Caxias city. The government sends Duque de Caxias and his troops that vanquish the rebels and Balaio turns into a bird again that flies for more than one hundred and forty years to find JanaÃna again. In 1968, in Rio, the warrior is Cau, but JanaÃna is a revolutionary student that lives with another insurgent. When Cau and JanaÃna are arrested by the repressive police, Cau rats the insurgents to protect JanaÃna from the torture and he becomes an outcast by his former fellows. Only the jailer Feijão talks to him and Cau teaches him politics. With the amnesty, Cau moves to the slums with Feijão and becomes a teacher and member of the criminal group Falange Vermelha. The delivery boy Pixixo is bringing classified documents with the identity of the undercover agents that are working in Alemão to deliver to the Chief of Police Valadares, but he is stopped in a checkpoint of the drug dealers. Pixixo flees, but the criminals that take his mail. Soon the criminals under the command of the drug lord Playboy jam the cellular and the Internet to hunt down the undercover agents Samuel, Danilo, Carlinhos and Branco that hide in their base in the pizzeria of the also undercover agent Doca. Without means of communication, there is tension and suspicion among the five men that are trapped inside the pizzeria. The situation gets more complicated when the cleaning woman Mariana comes to the pizzeria to receive her payment. Will the police agents succeed to escape?

Pilot tells his mother that he is going to the movie theater with his friend Beto, but they go to a street racing instead in a car that Beto has stolen in the workshop where he works. While seeking the documents, they find a revolver in the glove compartment. When Rafa hits the car of a black man in a maneuver, he shoots Beto on the chest. Rafa takes the gun and accidentally kills a girl. He is sent to prison and during one visit, Lúcia meets the influent lawyer Ruiva and they befriend each other. Ruiva, who is one of the head of the criminal organization "Party", offers money to the needy Lúcia to help her in minor wrongdoings, such as bringing illegal stuff to the inmates. Meanwhile the leaders of the powerful criminal organization have inner fights; when they are sent to a maximum security prison, they order rebellions in the prisons and havoc on the streets on the Mother's Day. Lúcia gets a remission to Rafa for this day, but the teenager has obligations with the Party.
