Старшокласниця Кеті (Шелбі Ліон) ніяк не може впоратися з депресією. Все валиться з рук, немає інтересу ні до навчання, ні до спілкування з друзями, навіть улюблена гімнастика не приносить колишньої радості. Все перевертається з ніг на голову і світ навколо знову грає яскравими фарбами, коли в житті юної дівчини з'являється Гіббі – незвичайна вихованка її вчителя, маленька мавпочка за якою Кеті повинна наглядати. Гіббі привносить в життя дівчини не тільки невеликі проблемки, а й море позитиву, і чудові зміни на краще. Звичайно ж, як і в будь-якому класі, дівчатка заздрять один одному.
