Напередодні його виходу в ефір «Детектор медіа» з'ясувало, що на московії цей серіал має назву «Последний мент», він знятий московською компанією «Спутник Восток Продакшн» на замовлення московського «Пятого канала». А «2+2» дозняв і переозвучив деякі сцени російського продукту. У квітні 2016 року Держкіно видало каналу прокатне посвідчення на серіал спільного виробництва московії та України.
